Consult the I Ching

The algorithm used on this page is based on the classical coin-toss method. More precisely, three coins are tossed a total of six times, once for each line. A hexagram composed of three upper trigrams and three lower trigrams emerges. The six numbers that translate into the hexagram are shown after you click "Toss the Coins". If 6 or 9 are cast for any of the six lines, a secondary hexagram is also generated, providing you with extra information concerning the matter at hand.
